UPDATED COVID-19 SALON SAFETY GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ


 IF YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT PLEASE WAIT OUTSIDE OF THE SALON OR IN YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER CONTACTS YOU AND ASKS YOU THE COVID-19 SCREENING QUESTIONS. YOU DO NOT NEED TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ARRIVED, WE WILL CONTACT YOU WHEN WE ARE READY **

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please do not come into our salon if you feel sick. You will be asked to leave if you are showing any symptoms, no exceptions.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include:

  • fever (chills, sweats)
  • new or worsening cough
  • sore throat
  • runny nose
  • headache
  • shortness of breath

When you arrive for your appointment you will be asked the following questions:

Do you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19?

Are you returning from travel outside Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland within the past 14 days, even if you don't have symptoms? 

If you answer yes to any of these questions we, unfortunately, will have to reschedule your service.   

We would be happy to reschedule your appointment if you are sick with no charge. Please note that while we are removing cancellation fees related to COVID-19, we will still be charging 100% of your service for no-shows. 

We are only allowing clients that have scheduled appointments inside our salon. No friends, family members, or pets are to be with you. We will have a zero-tolerance policy on this, and if you are unable to comply we will have to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged for the full service. 

If you have a scheduled appointment please wait outside of the salon or in your vehicle until one of our team members contacts you to let you know that we are ready to see you. You do not need to let us know that you have arrived, we will contact you when we are ready. 

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to make any weather-based exceptions so we recommend you dress accordingly if you are not driving to the appointment.


WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE SALON
As soon as you enter the salon we will ask that you please wash your hands or use any of the hand sanitizers we have provided for you throughout the salon. We ask that you please practice social distancing by staying apart whenever possible. 

When greeting us, we ask for no hugs or handshakes, sadly (for now).
 
Clients must wear a clean face mask to protect others for the duration of your appointment. We will have a limited number available for purchase if you forget yours, just let us know when you arrive if you will need one. 

We are not allowed to serve any beverages at this time. You are allowed to bring your own, as long as you take it with you when you leave as we are not allowed to dispose of it (including disposable cups). Any drinking requires removal of the face mask, which then must be replaced with a new one. We prefer that you not bring any food items into the salon. Unfortunately at this time, we will not have any magazines or books out. 

All of our towels and capes are washed after each use. All of our clients will be seated six feet apart or separated by a plexiglass barrier. The manicure table will have a plexiglass barrier. The front desk will have a plexiglass barrier.

All of our team members will be wearing protective face coverings while working, and are certified in infection control. We will have hand sanitizer at every workstation. 
 
When you are checking out, for sanitation reasons we ask that you use a credit or debit card when possible. 

We are very excited to see everyone again, and we also recognize that this is going to be awkward, not as glamorous as usual, and potentially a bit uncomfortable. These measures are for your safety, as well as ours. Rest assured, our number one goal is the same that it always has been, to provide a welcoming, beautiful environment with the highest quality products and a kind, knowledgable staff.
