The CHCo was established during the summer of 2020; when the previous salon owner relocated to her house; and Carolin moved her home salon into its current location after some modernizing renovations to ensure that Carstairs kept its only commercial salon open and running.

We are a trendy salon located on the main street of Carstairs, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our focus is on giving our clients the look they desire and the quality service they deserve. We pride ourselves in being a full service salon that offers something for everyone; from your toddlers first Haircut, to beautiful hair makeovers through Color and Perming Services, as well as various techniques of Hair Extensions, Special Event Hair Styling and Makeup, Facial Waxing, Brow Tinting and even Hot Shaves and Barber Services for the guys. Our experienced stylists look forward to meeting you if we haven't already!

*Carolin* is a Red Seal licensed stylist and the owner of the Carstairs Hair Company. She works part time behind the chair and is a part time Educator for one of our product lines, Joico. Carolin is passionate about all things hair. She loves working with long hair and fun colors, but enjoys working with your little ones and men's cuts just as well. Carolin also offers facial waxing and tinting, and Mobile Haircuts if you are unable to come to us. She will also be happy to set you up with whatever stylist may suit you best. 

*Ann-Marie* is a Red Seal licensed stylist that has been in the industry for 20+ years and has most recently been working as a Master Stylist at a salon in Cold Lake.  She specializes in custom hair colors and ladies haircuts of all kinds, but is a talented stylist whatever your needs. This girl can do it all, including facial waxing, men's and kids hair, and special occasion hair and makeup. She is at the salon Tuesday to Friday with the occasional Saturday by request only.

*Jen* is a Red Seal licensed stylist that came to us from a nearby Tommy Guns location; where she worked as their head barber and trainer. She's our barber girl offering men's cuts, hot shaves, beard maintenance, and men's brow, ear, and nostril waxing (Yup! That's a thing!). Even though she specializes in men's grooming, her 20+ years experience means she can whip up a beautiful hair makeover for the Ladies as well, and your kids are in the most capable hands with her. *Holly* is one of our Apprentices, but don't let that fool you. This girl is as skilled as she is friendly. She's learning from some of the best stylists with our licensed stylists and is eager to give you the look you want. Because she is still learning, Holly's color services come at a 10% discount. Check her work out on Instagram at @HollyTheHairstylist. Please note that Holly's last day with us is December 18th, at which point she will be leaving us to relocate to Vegreville with her family.

*Arden* is a licensed Red Seal hair stylist who joined our team in April 2021 from Sundre. Arden is ready for your haircuts (ladies, men and kids); colors - (she loves natural and sun kissed looks but is up for almost anything); brow tinting, special occasion hair and makeup, as well as tape in hair extensions! You can find her at the shop from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Check out her work on her Instragram at @av.hairstyling

*Caitlin* is our newest apprentice. This Carstairs original recently moved back to the neighborhood and can be found at the shop Tuesday to Saturday. Caitlin loves updos and special occasion hair; playing with semi permanent and fashion colors; and loves doing men's cuts too. Her services will be discounted by 10% as she is still learning, but you'll be in as good of hands as any. Your appointment may take a little bit longer but we check her work as needed and coach her through things to ensure you get the best service. Caitlin is also one of out Makeup Artists.

No detail is too small, so whether it's the services you receive, the products we use and sell, or the way you schedule your next appointment, we take every detail seriously. Life can get busy and family emergencies happen; however we ask that you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice wherever possible if you are unable to keep your appointment. Without advance notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of your scheduled service’s cost.
