Once upon a time in a land....just kidding. Our story began 5 years ago I  was in radio at the time and on the last leg of an 80 mile walk for Breast Cancer when there was a knock on the RV Door. It was Sandy, she said, “I wanted to thank you for what you are doing to bring awareness to Breast Cancer! I am a Breast Cancer survivor and a massage therapist! (I knew right then we’d be the bestest of friends!) So when you guys are done come by and I’ll give you a Free massage! (Free? Definitely bestest bestest of friends!). The next year I walked 80 Miles for the Wounded Warrior Project and Sandy was there massaging not only me but ALL the walkers for 3 straight days! (I’m pretty sure they all wanted to be her best friend too!) Yes the sweaty, blister infested, stinky walkers....I really don’t know how she did it! A year later I decided to leave radio and go back to school to become a skin therapist or ESTHETICIAN (I didn’t know how to say it or spell it at the time.) It was time for the massage portion of class and I went to the best massage therapist I knew and asked her to show me some tricks of the trade. While she massaged and I listened (are you starting to see a trend?) she asked if I would like to help her with her Massage and Margarita Parties that she did in people’s homes. She said, “Margarita”, so I said, “YES!”. Massage and Margaritas grew into 2 Girls and a Spa. For a year we have been traveling all over the state of Alabama doing spa parties for people in the comfort of their own home! Lugging all of our equipment in and out of our cars, different homes, storing it in our garages and re-finding it all when we had a party to go had us dreaming of our very own place where people could come to us!!! Through divine intervention, family, friends and a lot of xanax we opened the doors to our Pride and Joy June 26, 2009! Now comes the Happily Ever After...right?!...say yes!      Charlene

My side of the story...

The day I knocked on that RV door and met Charlene is a day that will go down in history!  No not really...mostly due to the fact that neither one of us is very important and also who really cares how we met?  The fact is that we did and all of you will benefit GREATLY from it!  Our pride and joy is 2 Girls and A Spa!  There, in that tiny 600 and 1/2 square foot building, dreams were dreamed, plans were made, floors were ripped up, tears were cried, fits were pitched, (mostly by charlene....drama, drama, drama) contractors were confused, vodka was poured...OH sorry!!  I'm rambling!  Anyway...through it all we can both agree that our "baby" could not have turned out any better!  (Insert shameless plug to painters/angels in coveralls Randy Knight and Dane Peters..without their help all might have been lost!)
